Running to the library (recommended reads)

The Rich Jerk - Is he Rich?…Yes, a Jerk?…maybe, either way this ebook tells it like it is. Cheap, effective, and well thought out ideas that make people want to buy your products. Get it while it’s hot!

The SEO Book - If you know what SEO stands for then you’ve probably heard of Aaron Wall. He and Al Gore single handedly invented the internet. While that statement is not true at all Aaron Wall has proven over and over again that his techniques can get your site ranked among the top with google, and other popular search engine sites. This SEO Bible is well worth the money and well worth the read, at least if you want to make some serious money online. A Running Total Recommendation!

Update: The SEO Book has now been taken completely online, with forums, regular updates, and feedback from Aaron himself.

Running to the bank (recommended money makers)

Bidvertiser: A nifty little site that allows you to place text ads on your blog and get paid. Sound familiar? It is. Thing that’s great about bidvertiser however is the low payout.

Pay Per Post: You have chosen your profession. You want to write. You want to get paid. What do you know, this site can allow you to do just that. Pay Per Post will pay you straight to your paypal account for posts you do for them. It almost sounds too good to be true.

Google Adsense: If you’ve never heard of google adsense you’ve probably been living under a rock…in Antarctica. Easy to set up, easy to maintain, and easy to get paid. Get it now.

Pepperjam Network: One of the newest marketing affiliates around. Pepperjam is increasing in popularity exponentially. Set up an account, set up your ads, and run them on your blog. Easy as that! Extremely flexible system that allows you to target your readers, you don’t want a “Worlds Best Steaks” ad on your PETA site.

These are some of the tools I have used to give me a running start. I’ll post more as I begin to use them and let you know how each one has performed.
